Frozen blueberries

Taking into account the fragility of blueberries, during the processing technological operations of sorting, removing impurities and foreign bodies (organic and mineral), freezing in a fast freezing installation with continuous operation and packaging are carried out. By freezing, blueberries keep their sweet-sour taste, purple to black color, vitamins and minerals in the same proportion as fresh ones. The health benefits of blueberries are diuretic, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, anti-diarrheal, and frequent consumption of blueberries improves cerebral blood circulation, preventing cerebrovascular accident.
Blueberries are very rich in antioxidants called anthocyanin, vitamin C, vitamins from the B complex, vitamin E, vitamin A, copper (which strengthens immunity and has an antibacterial role), selenium, zinc, iron (promotes immunity by increasing hemoglobin and oxygen concentration from the blood) and thus stimulates the immune system and prevents the occurrence of infections. By consuming blueberries you will avoid cold, fever, chicken pox and many of the diseases that can be transmitted, both virally and bacterially.
Blueberries are some of the fruits richest in antioxidants. This is mainly due to the presence of anthocyanin, a pigment responsible for the blue color of blueberries. The significant amount of vitamin C is another argument for the beneficial role of these fruits. These small fruits can prevent or cure, among others, the occurrence of neurotic disorders, by preventing the degeneration or destruction of neurons, brain cells, helping to maintain the health of the central nervous system. It is hard to believe, however, that these fruits can also cure serious diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease. They contribute to the healing of damaged cells and neuron tissues and keep the memory intact for a long period of time. Researchers have found that diets rich in blueberries also significantly improve learning ability.
Blueberries have been proven to help cancer patients, because they contain certain compounds, such as pterostilbene (excellent in the treatment of colon and liver cancer) and aleagic acid, which in combination with anthocyanin and other antioxidants such as vitamin C and copper, can lead to the prevention or cure of cancer. Laboratory studies show that those phenolic compounds in blueberries can inhibit the proliferation of colon cancer cells and induce apoptosis (programmed cell death). A significant reduction (about 34%) in the risk of ovarian cancer was also observed in women who had an increased intake of luteolin (found in citrus fruits).
